    Scuba Diving Maui

    Enveloped with a long stretch of emerald waters sated with an abundance of marine life, scuba diving Maui is more than just an experience. It will transport you to the city beneath the surface of the sparkling seas waiting for its hidden treasures to be unveiled. Since it belongs to the beautiful island of Hawaii that spells aloha, it is also considered as the sporting center of the entire region.

However, no matter how fantastic the site is, it still depends on the condition of the climate. All over the years, it has always been identified by how strong the tide, current, wind and surf is. Even the station has already given a forecast on what would be the weather for that particular day, it is not an assurance making it very hard to predict. Not to mention, the abilities and skills of a person will also matter, be it an apprentice or a professional.

    Only fifteen minutes when riding a boat, the Molokini Marine Life Conservation District offers such an exciting scuba diving Maui adventure. A volcano that lies under a depth of three hundred feet, its corners are either escalating vertically or sloping ahead. Most likely, pelagic species such as whale sharks and manta rays can be commonly seen. It is not only visited by aquatic enthusiasts but also with filmmakers and photographers who are captivated by its charm.

    One of the more interesting reasons to have scuba diving Maui in Molokini Marine Life Conservation District is that the fauna creatures who frequent the area have been protected. You can closely approach them or even swim side by side letting you appear like some minute being in the presence of a giant.

    In October of 1997, a 65 foot vessel named Saint Anthony was purposely brought to the gorge of Mokapu Beach. Presently, it is among the latest addition as an artificial dwelling place of colonies of fish. Green sea turtles are now the main attraction as there are also a lot of them around. Some slip through the hull which makes it really fun for a hide and seek game underwater.

    To the south of Wailea is Makena, it is part of a large bay where the bottom is gradually a slanting sand. It has plenty of archways, caves and pinnacles where tiger sharks take it as their abode when the sun sets. Likes of frogfish, eels and lionfish are also rich within the vicinity.
