    Deceiving

Believe it or not but deceiving has always been highly significant in table tennis service. If you are familiar with the change of rules implemented by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), you know that the custom hiding of the ball is no longer prohibited. The reason is because the attempt can be greatly ambiguous especially in service. At this juncture, your opponent will now focus on deceiving you by the kind of spin, faking and amount of spin. Your contender will also work on the positioning which was previously tackled.

    Kind of spin
Bear in mind that athletes in table tennis will employ a service that looks the same but truth is, a certain kind of spin is integrated for variation purposes. If ever you are not keen on this area, tendency is, you are giving your opponent an advantage. For example, sidespin and backspin are sort of similar to each other. Once you have difficulty recognizing what specifically the service was, your contender can attack you at your power zone gaining dominance even from the start of the play.

    Faking
Professionals in table tennis can exceptionally swing the paddle back and forth close to the period of contact. Not only that, the move can be done at a fast speed which is entirely difficult to observe when the ball was struck. This may not be a piece of cake to learn but needless to speak, effective in every table tennis play. As a matter of fact, veterans employ such as their strategy. Well, if you grow old practicing the sport, there is a great possibility that you can master the tactic.

    Amount of Spin
In table tennis, the amount of spin is another deceiving factor in service. A lot of instances, your opponent will attempt to mislead you by the number of strikes on the ball. For example, your opponent will try to give the service appear to be another combination of sidespin and backspin when as a matter of fact, only one of the two is made. If this happens, the athlete you have to take advantage of is hoping that you do a light return sending the ball to the net.

As an end to the aspect on deceiving, employ a service that appears to be appropriate on your attacks to the third ball and fifth ball. If you think that you are skilled at a backspin, utilize a service that will let the ball bounce twice on the playing surface of your opponent. Do so with the combination of a sidespin because your contender will now have difficulty in striking the ball properly. This strategy is actually encouraging a push return. On another note, if you are best in a counterattack, the service has to be long so you can dominate the match.
